Do you offer site visits?
We are more than happy to arrange a free site visit. Especially for unusual shaped gardens or when joining a marquee to your home. Just give us a shout!
What surfaces can you build marquees on?
We can build on grass, hard standing and artificial grass.
What flooring options do you offer?
We provide heavy, pegged-down, coir matt flooring when we build marquees on grass. We do not lay carpet directly onto grass, because it can be dangerous, as it can become damp, does not sit flat and can’t be secured to the floor.
We also offer wooden board flooring with carpet on top when the ground is uneven or on artificial grass – even in the winter.
Can you marquees be used all year round?
Yes! We build marquees all year round as they are made from heavy 500g/m² PVC covers, which are weatherproof, come rain or shine. The majority of marquees built between November and March are joined to homes, for additional comfort – and we use hard flooring with two different heating options.
Can marquees be joined to buildings, such as houses?
Absolutely! We specialise in joining marquees to homes and buildings, utilising our custom-designed guttering to make a watertight join with the property.
What heating options do you offer?
British weather is unpredictable all year round, which makes heating an important consideration. We offer Blue electric heaters – for the larger marquees we use external diesel warm air heaters with thermostat control.
Do you offer marquee packages?
We do have a number of example packages displayed, here on our website. However, in our experience no two marquee bookings the same, which means we create a bespoke package every time. This is because we find that no two customer requirements are exactly the same when it comes to marquee size, furniture and accessories. We always suggest that you arrange for us to make a site visit, so that we can make suggestions from our range of marquees that come in a variety shapes and sizes. Rest assured, we will always listen to your wishes and design the best value package to meets your needs!
Do you have furniture and accessories available for hire?
Yes! We have a large selection of quality furniture and other and other party necessities, including bars, dance floors, tables, chairs and sound systems see our sister company’s website for more: www.leisuretimehire.co.uk.
How long can I hire a marquee for?
We usually build the marquees on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday before a weekend booking, then take it down the following Monday or Tuesday. We charge 60% for each additional hire period added to the the first week’s hire.
How far ahead do I need to book a marquee?
We always recommend booking a few months in advance to avoid disappointment. However, we can take last minute bookings, subject to available stock and time.
